Data breaches have increased the demand for IT professionals that can protect networks from these threats. In response, Capital Area and Wake Tech launched a new training program called CASM – Cyber Assurance Simulation Modeling. Participants receive industry-recognized credentials and learn real-world network defense techniques using competitive gaming simulation software. If successful, participants will receive paid work experience onsite at a local business for 6 weeks.
This program was developed for veterans/ex-military, displaced IT workers looking to up-skill and young adults needing a secure career pathway. More information about the program and how to enroll will be released soon.
