Help for Workers Impacted by Chapel Hill Flood

CAWD is partnering with The Town of Chapel Hill’s Economic Development team to connect employees affected by Tropical Storm Chantal to workforce experts who can support them in many ways – including connections to employment opportunities.

What: Impacted Worker & Rapid Response Program
Where: Chapel Hill Public Library, Meeting Room B
When: Monday, July 21
9:30am – 11:00am session
3:00pm – 4:30pm session

At this free event, affected employees can expect:
▪ Information about unemployment benefits
▪ Education and training opportunities
▪ Help searching for jobs

The NCWorks Mobile Unit will also be outside the library from 9am to 4pm for assistance with registering on NCWorks.gov, creating a resume, and researching available jobs.

Registration is not required.

This event is open to the public at large.
