A Grant for Businesses to Train Employees

Now more than ever, businesses need a highly-skilled workforce that can quickly adapt to changing business conditions. In a highly competitive market, leaders who are developing their existing talent are winning and retaining a valuable workforce.

If you are a business in Wake, Johnston, Chatham, Lee or Orange counties with 250 employees or less, we want to connect with you! Grants up to $10,000 are available and are customized to meet your specific training needs. Through these investments, businesses can achieve higher productivity, increase profitability and reduce turnover.

In the event of business closures, furloughs or layoffs, CAWD offers rapid outplacement services to companies across Wake, Johnston, Chatham, Lee and Orange counties to help affected employees quickly prepare to transition. Whether the cause is COVID-19 or something else, employees will appreciate you for offering the assistance provided by Rapid Response services.
