Capital Area Workforce Development, in partnership with Wake County, has launched Reopen Wake to provide COVID-19 health and safety training to local employers and their staff. This program specifically connects businesses in Wake County’s vulnerable communities with necessary funding and training that will get employers and their staff back to work safely and confidently.
Trainees will understand the steps needed to prepare the workplace for operation in the wake of COVID-19. This includes OSHA recommendations for shared spaces, facilities setup and best practices for safely bringing employees back to on-site operations. This module is intended for leadership, management, facilities and human resources.
In this module, trainees will learn best practices for social distancing, proper handwashing and other personal safety measures. This module is intended for all staff and employees.
To be eligible for these resources, you must have 250 employees or less and meet one of the requirements below.
