WIOA Dislocated Worker Program
The Capital Area Workforce Development Board Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Dislocated Worker Program is federally supported 100% by the U.S. Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $1,482,687.
WIOA Youth Program
The Capital Area Workforce Development Board Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Youth Program is federally supported 100% by the U.S. Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $1,821,673.

Small Business Work-based Learning Program
Capital Area Workforce Development Board’s Small Business Work-based Learning program is supported in whole, or in part, by federal award number SLFRP0129 awarded to NC Department of Commerce by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Program award: $850,000.
Pathway to Entrepreneurship
Capital Area Workforce Development Board’s Pathway to Entrepreneurship program is supported in whole or in part by federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds awarded to Wake County Government by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Program award: $1,362,000.
Five Stars Hotel Workforce Initiative
Capital Area Workforce Development Board’s Five Stars program is supported in whole or in part by federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds awarded to Wake County Government by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Program award: $812,500
Recovery to Work Program
Capital Area Workforce Development Board’s Recovery to Work Program/Substance Use Grant is supported in whole, or in part, by federal award number SLFRP0129 awarded to NC Department of Commerce by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Grant award: $200,000.

Wake Local Reentry Council
The OJT program provided through Wake Local Reentry Council is supported by the Employment & Training Administration of the US Department of Labor as part of a total award of $1,708,376 with 90% financed by Wake County Government and other sources.
NCPROWD
Capital Area Workforce Development Board’s NCPROWD program is 100% supported by an award through the NC Department of Commerce by the Employment & Training Administration of the US Department of Labor totaling $3,238,171.
Vulnerable Communities
